Catering and Hospitality Manager
Kevin’s career in conferences and events began in Brighton, where he spent time at the Metropole Hotel co-ordinating and running large events, The Grand Brighton, where he was ultimately responsible for the operations and service, and at the Old Ship Hotel, where he was General Manager.
Kevin joined the 1839 Hospitality & Events team at the County Ground in 2008.
Paul’s impressive experience began when he was classically trained at The Feathers at Woodstock, a Michelin starred restaurant, before becoming head chef at La Noblese, the fine dining restaurant at the Brighton Thistle, Whites, where he was awarded two AA rosettes, and head chef at Tottington Manor. In recent years he has worked at Brighton and Hove Albion FC, Plumpton Races among others.
Paul joined the 1839 Hospitality & Events team at the County Ground in 2007.
Deputy Catering and Hospitality Manager
Helen’s career began in 5-star service at The Grand Brighton, where she catered for prime ministers, pop stars, UK industry leaders at high-profile local events, before broadening her experience with two other De Vere properties; the 5-star Grand Harbour in Southampton, and De Vere White in Bolton, where she also serviced the Reebok Stadium before returning to Brighton and working across a number of venues.
Helen joined the 1839 Hospitality & Events team at the County Ground in 2005.
Deputy Manager - Catering Operations
Catering Duty Manager – Function and Events
Emma began her career at the County Ground as a member of the catering team, working on both match days and non-match day events. Since then she has moved into a supervisor role, before taking up her current position within the management team.
Emma joined the 1839 Hospitality & Events team at the County Ground in 2012.
