Meet a Master Brewer at the Sussex Ale Festival

Saturday 23rd May sees the start of our fourth annual Sussex Ale Festival, offering you the chance to sample a wide variety of quality ales from all over the county. This year’s event will see 18 breweries and 50 real ales from across Sussex come to the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground for five days of hop-filled fun.

As part of this year’s festivities, we’re offering you the chance to meet the master brewer from Edinburgh’s oldest and best-established brewers as part of a very special ‘Where Cricket Meets….’ event on Monday 25th May.

At the event you will meet the master brewer of the renowned Caledonian Brewery and listen to him talk about the craft of brewing some of the finest ales in the world, all while sampling some of his work.

The event coincides with the second day of Sussex CCC’s match against Warwickshire and you’ll also enjoy a two-course lunch with ales matched to complement your food.

The Caledonian Brewery was established in 1869 and its award-winning ales are infused with five generations of know-how. In 2009, Caledonian combined with Heineken, also available at the County Ground, to produce The Flying Dutchman, a Dutch-style Wit Bier.

Book your place now by phone on 0844 264 1736 or email 1839@sussexcricket.co.uk.
