Our ‘Where Cricket Meets…’ events support local charities and are each headlined by a special guest. We have welcomed stars from the worlds of both sport and entertainment to the 1st Central County Ground to talk about their lives and careers.
Sally is the first woman to row the Atlantic twice from east to west. In 2004 she was part of the first mother and daughter team to row an ocean – earning a Guinness World Record – whilst in 2010 she took part in the final leg of the Round-the-World Clipper Yacht race.
Join us to hear of her hilarious and informative tales of rough seas, wild storms, harsh living and encounters with sharks delivered in her trademark style.
