A venue for all occasions
Rising up from the humble barley fields purchased by Sussex County Cricket Club in 1871, the 1st Central County Ground is shaped by a history of first-class cricket.
As the years have rolled by, the Ground has grown and developed alongside the game of cricket for more than a century. Indeed, some of the best nights to be had here are now bathed in the floodlights and fire of T20 matches, the most recent incarnation of the game.
Boasting incredible modern facilities, the 1st Central County Ground is not only one of the most historic venues in Sussex, but also one of the finest.
Huddled in the heart of Hove, nestled between the South Downs and the sea, with great transport links via nearby Hove train station and local bus services, it’s the perfect place for all occasions.
